20+ years of professional experience
What I bring
- Product vision and strategic thinking, informed by experience across multiple domains and at their intersections
- End-to-end ownership: I keep the full project context in view, set priorities, and revise them as new signals emerge
- Broad technical range: I stay current with emerging technology, work across stacks, and create new technologies or standards when a project calls for them
- A practical understanding of how engineering culture affects delivery efficiency and product quality
- The ability to establish effective AI-assisted development processes and keep project context coherent for both people and AI tools
- Clear, constructive communication and an ability to work well with people
- A focus on solving the underlying problem, not merely automating the existing process
- Comfort with uncertainty and a knack for finding unconventional solutions
- A strong design sensibility grounded in my background in UX/UI design
- A hands-on approach and a genuine enjoyment of coding, collaboration, and work beyond the boundaries of a formal role

Career Highlights
| Period | Role |
|---|
| 2022 - present | CTO, Tech Lead |
- Led a team of experienced R&D engineers
- Designed the architecture for a complex decentralized messaging platform. Introduced a graph-based approach for granular real-time data management and a flexible strategy for mesh-instance updates and version control.
- Created the open-source foundation for multiple internal products and client-facing solutions
- Developed AI-assisted engineering workflows and standards
| Period | Role |
|---|
| 2020 - 2022 | Tech Lead |
- Led the technical direction of File Uploader, one of the company's key products
- Designed a flexible architecture and composable library for file-upload workflows
- Created a comprehensive UI framework for widgets and micro-frontends
| Period | Role |
|---|
| 2018 - 2020 | Senior Web Developer |
- Delivered several in-house products end-to-end, from design to production, built on IBM Maximo with Firebase-based performance middleware:
- Infrastructure monitoring tool
- Asset management application for educational institutions
- Asset ordering tool (shop) for Maximo users
- Information board application for railway locomotive assembly lines
- Implemented a flexible GraphQL-like API for IBM Maximo EAM over JSON-RPC, with types and structured response schemas, using Maximo automation scripts. The API filled functional gaps between built-in Maximo APIs and allowed clients to retrieve only the requested data, avoiding overfetching.
| Period | Role |
|---|
| 2015 - 2018 | Lead frontend developer / UX engineer |
- Developed a complex online-survey editor from scratch
- Conditional logic survey flows
- Rich content editors
- Developed all UI and UX
- Created a flexible graph-based data architecture with support for granular updates
| Period | Role |
|---|
| 2015 - 2016 | Tech lead |
The goal was to enable online virtual fitting: showing garments on a mannequin configured to match a user's body measurements.
We had a physically based cloth simulation, but it was too resource-intensive to scale as a web service. I proposed an alternative approach: pre-rendering garment shapes and quickly interpolating between 3D mesh vertex positions to approximate the simulation result. This made real-time online fitting practical while preserving visual quality close to the original simulation.
